Thalgo Oxygen SOS Serum is listed under the moisturizer category, but it is labeled as a serum. Is this a serum to be used under a moisturizer?

Yes, Thalgo Oxygen SOS Serum should be used under a moisturizer, day and night for skin that is exposed to pollution, is tired from lack of sleep or for age prevention. You may use this serum for a day and and alternate serum for night such as Thalgo Absolute Rehydrating Serum. Good moisturizers to complement these serums are Oxygen 3 Defense Cream and Collagen Cream Hydration first Wrinkles.

Every self-tanner I’ve tried tends to accentuate freckles, and especially brown spots on my legs and arms. I read that Jane Iredale’s Tantasia works with one’s own melanin, but I still worry that it would darken the age spots, etc. What is your experience with this?

Effective self-tanning lotions contain dihydroxyacetone (DHA) as the active ingredient. DHA is a colorless sugar that interacts with the dead cells located in the top layer of the skin.
